USA HOCKEY AND LADY RAIDERS LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY DAY NOVEMBER 5th
Equipment to Play

On this page we will describe our background and philosophy.

Our Mission
To provide safe and competitive alternative to the long and expensive ice hockey season.  With a later starting date, we are able to keep cost down to allow your daughters more time for their fall sports and activities.   Our goal is to give more girls the opportunity to start and continue to play ice hockey.  Allowing an affordable place for  your daughter to participate.  Your child will be taught based on USA Hockey ADM http://www.admkids.com/

Our History
The 2007-2008 season was the Lady Raiders first year.  The program started out as a recreation program but with 37 girls signed up.  We were able to place one team each at the U-10 and U-12 levels.  Girls from Watertown, Waltham, Belmont, and Allston-Brighton played on these two teams.

Our Goals
To welcome girls from any City or Town with the hope to expand our enrollment to at least two teams each at the U-10, U-12, U14 and U-19 levels.  To provide a safe and age appropriate level of play for all girls, regardless of ability. We hope to have girls use this program as their primary team or as a cheaper alternative for a second team.  We also are looking to put skates on girls, if you are interested in learning to love ice skating our free learn to skate is for you.  Hockey encouraged but not required.
